This is in part because are servers are 100% managed and we want to make sure that your server is running at its fullest potential before you receive it.
Our Download Servers, are just that, servers designed and setup to offer high speed downloads to your customers. These servers are setup to only allow downloads, they will not parse or process HTML, PHP, or any script of any kinds. The only file type that will be load are image files. The reason for this is to allow image hosting, or image related needs. Servers are limted to web and ftp only.
We do not limit what you can do with your server, you are allowed to offer image hosting, legal software downloads, Linux mirrors, and more.
Shared Port Servers.
Each 10Mbps UNMETERED server is connected to a Full-Duplex 10Mbps switch port, which is connected to a bandwidth pool shared by all 10Mbps UNMETERED clientele. 10Mbps UNMETERED servers on average can transfer between 2000GB-3000GB per month in both outbound and inbound directions. The 10Mbps bandwidth allocation is not guaranteed/Dedicated, and is supplied on a "best-effort" basis---which may result in some slowdowns during peak traffic times.
NO OVERAGE FEES REGARDLESS OF USAGE.
Each 100Mbps UNMETERED server is connected to a Full-Duplex 10/100Mbps switch port, which is connected to a bandwidth pool shared by all 100Mbps UNMETERED clientele. 100Mbps UNMETERED servers on average can transfer between 3000GB-5000GB per month outbound and 15000GB-20000GB inbound. The 100Mbps bandwidth allocation is not guaranteed/Dedicated, and is supplied on a "best-effort" basis---which may result in some slowdowns during peak traffic times.
NO OVERAGE FEES REGARDLESS OF USAGE.
NonShared Port Servers.
Each server is connected to a Full-Duplex 10Mbps switch port. All bandwidth is Dedicated to each server. You can and are allowed to run your connection 24/7/365 without any problems or overage charges. This bandwidth is Tier One Savvis bandwidth.
NO OVERAGE FEES REGARDLESS OF USAGE.
