100Mbit Unmetered Blowouts!!!We are currently blowing out servers on full 100Mbit Unmetered connections!!!! All servers come with the same level of service and administration as our other servers. More information here.
What is Shared Bandwidth? Our Shared bandwidth options provide our customers with a 100 Mbit/sec or Gigabit port that is not metered in any way, but at an affordable price. This is made possible by guaranteeing a certain amount of bandwidth and then offering additional bandwidth out of a shared pool that all customers can share. The larger our customer base gets, the larger the pool of bandwidth gets. This guarantees you a certain level of service for your initial bandwidth usage, but also allows you to burst well above those base usage levels without incurring any additional fees. We feel this method is superior to other shared unmetered bandwidth products as you know exactly what you'll be getting and what you can expect. In addition, we guarantee you will never be shutdown for using too much bandwidth, have your port capped at a lower level, or be billed for overages. What you can expect: 100 Mbit/sec Shared Network Connection - An unmetered 100 Mbit/sec port with 10 Mbit/sec of guaranteed bandwidth. You will always be able to push at least 10 Mbit/sec 24/7 with no packet loss and no slowdown. After the 10 Mbit/sec level, you will be able to use more bandwidth, but that bandwidth usage will be from the overall pool of bandwidth, provided to all customers. Normally, you will be able to use much more bandwidth than you are initially guaranteed, but this bandwidth usage may get some packet loss or see other slowdowns. You will almost always be able to use the full 100 Mbit/sec of incoming bandwidth. 1000 Mbit/sec Shared Network Connection - An unmetered 1000 Mbit/sec port with 80 Mbit/sec of guaranteed bandwidth. You will always be able to push at least 80 Mbit/sec 24/7 with no packet loss and no slowdown. After the 80 Mbit/sec level, you will be able to use more bandwidth, but that bandwidth usage will be from the overall pool of bandwidth, provided to all customers. Normally, you will be able to use much more bandwidth than you are initially guaranteed, but this bandwidth usage may get some packet loss or see other slowdowns. These systems are capped to 100 Mbit/sec of incoming bandwidth by default to protect against DDoS attacks, but this cap can be lifted by contacting our support department. |
